Helen Marie Boroff, 82, of Van Wert, passed away at 4:58 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 09, 1939, in Columbia Heights, Minneapolis, MN, to the late Melvin and Olive (Olson) Haight, and raised by her late aunt and uncle, Theresa (Haight) and Doyt Roberts.
On August 23, 1958, she married Roger Dean Boroff. Together, they shared many years of memories. She retired from Eaton where she worked as a quality control inspector. Helen loved music and attending live performances. She was a member of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center and enjoyed eating meals at the American Legion. She also liked gardening and working in her flower beds.
Helen was a hard worker and never gave up as was evident in her decade long battle with cancer.
Surviving are her children: Kevin (Christine Kunkle) Boroff of CA; Kip Boroff of Fort Wayne; Kimberly (Luke) Whitney of Miamisburg; grandchildren: Shelby, Trevor, Travis, Alexander, Ariana, Brandon, Jared; and great grandchild, Abigail.
In addition to her parents, aunt and uncle, and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Haight and sister, Shirley Linser.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery, 10968 Woodland Ave. Van Wert, OH with Celebrant Stuart Wyatt officiating.
