Howard "Randy" Roush passed away August 9, 2016, at Parkview Heart Institute after a month long battle from heart surgery. He was born June 1, 1956, in Decatur, Indiana, to Clyde and Jane (Smith) Roush.

He was first married to Sandy McCoy and then to Jeanie Sarver.

He is survived by sons: Jeremy (Jamie) Roush of Delaware, Ohio, and Jason (Kim) Roush of Cincinnati, stepson, Mike (Michelle) Sarver of rural Middle Point; grandchildren, Rae Ann Adams, Jerett Roush, Jacob and Josie Roush, Nicole and Maria Sarver; sisters, Lana (Art Lucas) of Lima, German of Wetzel, and Cheryl Smith of rural Middle Point; nieces, Trisha Carter and Fara Lare; nephews, Joshua, Matthew and Adam Ricker and their families; and best friend of 50 years, Barry McDowell of Van Wert.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and wife Jeanie.

He attended Lincolnview school from the second grade on.

He was employed at Braun Industries where his co-workers were also friends. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking and crafting. He was an excellent carpenter like his grandfather, Howard Roush. He was an avid hunter who looked forward to hunting with his son, Jeremy, and best friend, Barry.

Howard was a quiet, kind man. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved his family especially his sons and grandchildren.

Howard was loved by all who ever met him. He will be missed but would not want anyone to be sad or heavy hearted by his passing.

There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Rest in peace Howard, we love you.
