Jacquelyn Brittsan, 52, of rural Harrison, Michigan, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, after complications from an off road vehicle accident. Jacquelyn was born Feb. 2, 1964, in Warren, Michigan, the daughter of Fred Kenneth and Theresa Ann (Toth) Lowry. Jacquelyn graduated in 1982 from Lebanon High School, Lebanon, Indiana. On Aug. 19, 2000, in Branch County, Michigan, Jacquelyn was united in marriage to Mr. Jerry Brent Brittsan.
In 2006, Jacquelyn moved to Harrison from Fort Wayne, Indiana, making Harrison her new home. She attended Harrison United Brethren Church. Jacquelyn enjoyed listening to music, doing chores around the family farm and working around her home. Her greatest passion was loving and spoiling her children.
Surviving Mrs. Brittsan is her loving husband of fifteen years, Mr. Jerry B. Brittsan of Harrison; her two children: Dolly and husband, Craig, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Melon and wife, Carrie, of Chesapeake, Virginia; her parents, Fred K. and Theresa A. Lowry of Coldwater, Michigan; her two grandbabies: Jaylah and Bear; one step-daughter, Mellisa and Brad of Waterford, Michigan; one step-son, Jason of San Jose, California; three brothers: Fred and wife, Karen, of Warren, Tom and Lori of Coldwater, and Marty and Teresa of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and seven nieces and nephews: Anna, Tommy, Amber, Andy, Kyle, Kenny, and Scottie.
Mrs. Brittsan was preceded in death by her brother, Matt, and two nephews: Matt and Derrick.
Funeral services in honor of Jacquelyn will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 2 p.m. from Harrison United Brethren Church, Harrison, Michigan, with Pastor George Eagle officiating. A time of gathering and sharing will take place on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Harrison United Brethren Church, Harrison, Michigan, from 11 a.m. until time of service. Also, local visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio.
