GROVER HILL, Ohio a�" James O. Miller, 77, of Grover Hill, died Thursday morning, Aug. 21, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 7, 1936, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Audrey (Crone) Hammond and Gaylord Miller.
His wife is Sue Ann (Kinner) Miller of Grover Hill.
Survivors include children: Dean Miller of Lima, Ohio, James B. Miller of Antwerp, Ohio, Lisa (Tom) Holovack of Lima, Jacob R. Miller of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children: Ronald W. Miller and Rhonda K. Miller, and two brothers: Ronald Leroy Miller and Jackie Miller.
He retired from Chrysler Amplex, Van Wert, and was a member of Jehovah Witness of Defiance, Ohio. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1954-1957, loved fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at the funeral home.
