VAN WERT, Ohio - Janice J. Johnson, 84, of Van Wert, died at 12:27 p.m. Dec. 18, 2013, at Van Wert Hospital, Van Wert.
She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Van Wert, to the late Mary (Speer) Ragan and Guy A. Ragan.
Her husband, Robert E. Johnson, died Oct. 26, 1994. They were married May 17, 1959.
Survivors include a sister-in-law: Nina Ragan of Van Wert, nieces and nephews: Karen Thompson of Arizona, Penny (Richard) Ryan of Missouri, Stephen Ragan of Ohio, Mary (Hugh) Thomas of Ohio, and Charles Davis of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Carl W. Ragan, and sisters: Burnice Davis and Muriel Yore.
She worked at Central Mutual Insurance Co., Van Wert, from 1948-1967.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. The Rev. Hal Shafer will officiate.
