VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Janice E. Taylor, 66, of Van Wert, died at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born April 13, 1949, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to Virginia (Girod) Baker, who survives of Van Wert, and the late Harold V. Baker, who died June 20, 1993.
Her husband, Charles "Steve" Taylor, survives of Van Wert.
Other survivors include children: Donny (Lynn) Taylor, Jody (Tami) Taylor, and Chuck (Michelle) Taylor, all of Van Wert, and six grandchildren: Danielle, Hannah, Tristan, Logan, Zannah, and Charlee.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Janet L. Baker.
She retired from Federal Mogul, Van Wert, after 25 years of service. She had also worked at United Telephone for 11 years in Van Wert. She attended First Baptist Church, Van Wert. Janice loved to bake and decorate for the holidays. She was a graduate of Lincolnview High School.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Gus Christo-Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery Van Wert.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
