Jeffrey Detwiler

Jeffrey N. Detwiler, 61, of Delphos, formerly of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 11:23 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
He was born March 22, 1952, in Van Wert, to the late Dixie (Rise) Detwiler and Joe Detwiler. His former wife Sherry Kay survives.
Other survivors include his children: Andy (Miranda) Detwiler of Cairo, Ohio, Abby (Kyle) Caballero of Baton Rouge, La.; brothers: Norm (Pam) Detwiler of Van Wert and Nick (Angela) Detwiler of Ohio City; sisters: Joyce (Dennis) Thatcher and Johnna (Greg) Roberts, both Van Wert, and grandchildren: Deven, Karlee and Ashlyn Detwiler; Hilary, Corbin and Landry Caballero. He is also survived by his dog, Tag.
He retired from the City of Van Wert Street Dept. He was a 1970 graduate of Van Wert High School.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert.
