Jeraldine Brown

Jeraldine J. “June” Brown, 85, of Van Wert, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born June 3, 1932, in Van Wert, to Mabel (Shively) Bell and Doyt Bell. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, Max Brown, is deceased. They were married Sept. 1, 1951.
Survivors include her children, Marlene Subler, Nyla Williams and Beth Sargent, all of Van Wert; sisters, Marcia Shaw of Van Wert and Lois (Robert) Dowler of New Haven, Indiana; three grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; seven great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was employed as a factory worker for 20 years at North American Phillips, retiring in 1986. She was formerly a member at Antioch Chapel Friends Church. June volunteered at Van Wert Area Visiting Nurses for several years.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Scott, Ohio. Visitation is 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Fire and EMS Department.
