Joette Jones

Joette F. Jones, 59, of Van Wert, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
She was born March 15, 1956, in Van Wert, to the late Edna (Dunlap) Harman and Joseph Harman.
Survivors include children, Shawn Michael Jones of Toledo, Ohio, and Benjamin (Nikki Staten) Jones and Nicole Jones, both of Van Wert, sister, Carol Germann of Ohio City, Ohio, and one granddaughter, Joette's pride and joy, Briella Jones.
She retired from Federal Mogul Corporation in Van Wert, and was owner of Cuppa Jo Creations, also of Van Wert, where she was affectionately known as the "snowman" lady. Joette was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Clark Williman will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at the funeral home. Those attending visitation on Monday are encouraged to wear Ohio State Buckeye attire.
