Joseph Robert Hines, 43, of Van Wert, died at 10:48 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, in Van Wert County, Ohio.
He was born April 28, 1972, in Celina, Ohio. His mother, Candice (Hines) Hire, and stepfather, Joe Hire, survive in Van Wert. He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Green.
He married Sheri (McMinn) Hines who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include children, Joseph Hines, Jr. of North Carolina, David Hines of California, and Mikala Hines of North Carolina; step children, Timothy and Andrew Sterling both of Van Wert, OH; step-brother, Shawn Hire of Van Wert; step-sisters, BobiJo Howard ofVan Wert, and Jessica Hire of Scott, Ohio; several half brothers and sisters, and 13 grandchildren.
He currently worked at Quality Painting, Van Wert, and was formerly Joe the Painter, Van Wert.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at Hires Old South, Van Wert.
