Julianne Fowler, 72, of Van Wert, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
She was born Nov. 7, 1939, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Rosemary (Monroe) Reaman and Donald Reaman.
Her husband, Robert F. Fowler, survives of Van Wert. They were married in 1959.
Other survivors include her children: Patricia (Kenneth) Fast of Moundsville, W.Va., Beth (John) Krochmal of Galloway, Ohio, Catherine (Todd) Kette of Powell, Ohio, and Jim (Adrienne) Fowler of Marietta, Ga.; brothers: John (Sheila) Reaman of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and James (Mary) Reaman of Lima; sisters: Nancy (Adrian) Zuber of Lima and Connie Reaman of Bellbrook, Ohio, and nine grandchildren: Aaron, Carl and Jacob Fast, Joe and Jim Krochmal, Nikki Kette, Catherine, Jocelyn and Grey Fowler.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey Fowler, and a brother: Donald Reaman.
She retired as a registered nurse from Van Wert Hospital in Van Wert. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert and a graduate of the St. Rita's School of Nursing in Lima.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert. The Rev. Stan Szybka will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. There will be a rosary service held at 7:45 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
