June Klinger

March 24, 1939 — November 8, 2011

MIDDLE POINT, Ohio - June L. Klinger, 72, Middle Point, went to be with her Lord & Savior at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at Van Wert Hospital, Van Wert, Ohio.

She was born March 24, 1939, in Jackson Township, Van Wert County, Ohio, to Paul O. Swartz, who survives of Ft. Jennings, Ohio, and the late Frances O. (Price) Swartz. Her husband, Robert L. Klinger, survives of Middle Point. They were married March 22, 1958.

Other survivors include her children: Kent (Lori) Klinger of Ft. Jennings and Penny (Randy) Baucom of Middle Point, her sisters: Wanda Sue (Jack) Krick of Winterhaven, Fla., Sharon (David) Sheets of Van Wert and Brenda (Jimmy) Welch of Ft. Jennings, and four grandchildren: Justin & Gregory Klinger; Kaleb & Chelsea Baucom.

She was a life member of Zion Christian Union Church, Grover Hill, Ohio, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a 1957 graduate of Hoaglin Jackson High School, a member of the Denominations singing group and various other singing groups all of her life, a member of the Mission Board of the church and very active in the Foodbank of Grover Hill. She was also active in her family team, "For Pete's Sake", in the Van Wert County Relay for Life and followed her grandchildren in everything they did.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Revs. Joe Redmond and Mark McKay will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is Van Wert County Relay for Life team - "For Pete's Sake."
