Karen Moyer

Karen S. Moyer , 68, of Haviland, Ohio, passed away at 9:09 AM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 7, 1949 in Paulding, Ohio to the late Goldie (Silver) and Ernest Winchester Foust.

On December 12, 1971, Karen married the love of her life, Lloyd H. Moyer. She attended GM Tech in Michigan before working as a foreman at Teleflex for many years until her health forced her to retire.  Before her illness, Karen enjoyed bowling, completing outside projects and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd of Haviland, OH; brother, Ray (Julia) Foust of Montrose, MI; sister, Peggy Larkin of Van Wert, OH; several grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren & numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her children, Tina, Travis and Stacey; brothers, Dick & Roy; and sisters, Amanda, Ruth and Dorothy.

Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery at a later date.  There will be no public services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Karen’s name to CHP Home Care & Hospice.
