Kathy Johnson

Kathy Rose(Routt) Johnson, age 66, of Van Wert, died on Saturday July 10th, 2021 at her residence in Van Wert, Ohio surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 16th, 1954, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Frederick Routt and Betty (Taylor) Routt. On May 25th 1990, she married the love of her life, Conrad Johnson.

Kathy was a big family person who loved her grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed crocheting, and fishing, and loved to bake, and teach her grandchildren different family recipes. She worked and retired from Eaton.

Survivors include her husband, Conrad of Van Wert; three sons: Jamie, Joseph, and Matthew Lautzenheiser, all of Van Wert; three brothers: David (Joyce) Routt, and Steven Routt of Cavett; Dan Routt of Van Wert; one sister: Cindy (Shane) Neer of Frost Proof, FL; Four grandchildren; Chelsea, Tyler, Jared, Isabel Lautzenheiser; One great granddaughter, Avrey; One great grandson on the way (Greyson).

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Karla and Marilyn Routt.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home 722 S. Washington St. Van Wert, OH 45891 where there will be a Time of Sharing at 3:30 PM.
