Kenneth N. "Ken" Stahl, 60, of West Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Van Wert, died Friday evening, Feb. 10, 2017, in Burgaw, North Carolina, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born Feb. 29, 1956, in Van Wert, to Kenneth E. and Joan (Pate) Stahl who survive of Van Wert.
His wife, Julie Stahl, survives of West Melbourne, Florida. They were married Jan. 1, 2000.
Other survivors include his children, Jaime, Kendra, Jennifer, Heather and Matt, stepdaughter, Wendy; brothers, Patrick Stahl of Van Wert and Brian (Sandi) Stahl of Trimble, Tennessee; sisters, Debbie (Ron) Klewer of Van Wert and Kathy (Mitch) Rutter of Mendon, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He worked in hospital security. He was a veteran of the United States Army, studied business administration at the University of Phoenix and was a 1974 graduate of Van Wert High School.
Service will begin at noon Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. Pastor Randy Christian will officiate. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial may be directed to the family for medical expenses.
