L. Arlene Marsee, 88, of Convoy, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday evening, Feb. 10, 2017, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert, Ohio. She was born Dec. 21, 1928, in Glenmore, Ohio, to Laura (Kreischer) Bolenbaugh and Andrew Jackson Bolenbaugh. Her parents preceded her in death.
Her husband, Sherman William Marsee, is deceased.
Survivors include children, Gene (Georgia) Marsee, Faye (John) Stroh, both of Walsenburg, Colorado, Kay (Tom) Clutter of Crook, Colorado, Dennis (Connie) Marsee of Convoy; daughter-in-law, Myrna Marsee of Van Wert; a brother, Bill (Marcille) Bolenbaugh of Ohio City, Ohio; sisters, Anita Copeland and Pearl Whitehead, both of Celina, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Cletus Marsee; brothers, John, Alan, Roy and Delloyd Bolenbaugh; sisters, Margaret Kiracofe and Ethel Hawk, and a great-grandchild.
She retired from Aeroquip Corp., Van Wert, after 30-plus years.
Service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at Gearhart & Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy. The Rev. Bud Walls will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy IOOF Cemetery, Convoy.
Visitation is 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at Gearhart & Jurczyk Funeral Home.
