La Donna Mae Pfost

La Donna Mae Pfost, 90, of Scott, passed away early morning on October 07, 2020 at Vancrest of Van Wert. She was born on July 29, 1930, in Paulding County, to the late Anthony K. and Ila Mae (Coble) Saylor.

On August 11, 1950, she married the John R Pfost, who passed away on February 12, 2014. Together, they shared many years of memories. Mae enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: William G. (Nancy) Pfost, David M. Pfost, Betty K. Pfost, all of Scott, two grandchildren: Michelle (Trent) Huffine of Scott, and Adam (Sara) Pfost of Perrysburg, Ohio, and four great grandchildren: Breanna and Devin Huffine and Nathan and Brooke Pfost; brother: David (Jackie) Saylor of Defiance; as well as many nieces and nephews..

In addition to her parents and husband, Mae was preceded in death by a sister, a brother, 3 half-sisters, and 1 half-brother.

A funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends one hour prior from 11 to 12. Interment will follow in Mohr Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mae`s memory may be sent to Scott EMS.
