Larry Charles Clay, 62, of Rockford, Ohio, formerly of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Friday January 8, 2010 at 4:05 a.m. at James Cancer Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born December 10, 1947 in Celina, Ohio to Robert Wayne Clay and Vivian Ruth Frysinger Clay. On December 31, 1994 he married Sandra Ross, who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife Sandra are 3 sons: Brian (Robin) Clay, Van Wert, Ohio, Brent Clay, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Derek Clay, Grover Hill, Ohio; one step-son: Kerry (Barb) Kuether, Minster, Ohio; 2 step-daughters: Kellie (Marty) Romer, Greencastle, Indiana, Stephanie Foreman, Celina, Ohio; one brother: Robert (Vicki) Clay, Jr., Grabill, Indiana; one sister: LuAnn (Kim) Sigler, Rockford, Ohio; 2 grandchildren: Austin & Kirsten Clay; 7 step-grandchildren: Nick Foreman, Haylie, Corrie,& Jack Romer, Courtney, Hannah,& Morgan Kuether. He served in the National Guard for 13 years. He worked at Chrysler Corporation in Perrysburg, Ohio. He was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles Rockford #1492, Celina Moose #1473, and was an avid golfer. Memorial Services are at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the Rockford United Methodist Church, Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating.
