CONVOY, Ohio - Lee H. Hoblet, 63, of Convoy, died at 11:18 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was born Jan. 15, 1950, in Decatur, Ind., to Marjorie (Owens) Hoblet and Howard H. Hoblet who survive in Convoy.
Other survivors include his children: Joshua Lee (Ann) Hoblet of North Lima, Ohio, Joel C. Hoblet of Delphos, Ohio, Michael Howard (Bethany) Hoblet of Morrow, Ohio, and Justin W. Hoblet of San Diego, Calif.; brother: Dr. Kent (Connie) Hoblet of Starkville, Miss.; sister: Janice (Gerry) Herzog of Columbus Grove, Ohio; grandchildren: Tyler Hoblet, Levi Hoblet, Ryan Hoblet, Jacob Hoblet and Ethan Hoblet.
He retired from the Van Wert County Engineer's Office in 2011. He owned and operated Hoblet's Lawn Care & Hoblet's Barber Shop for over 30 years. He was a member of Convoy Fox Hunter's Club, loved the outdoors, hunting and coon hunting.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Gearhart & Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy. The Rev. Gerald Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy IOOF Cemetery, Convoy.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the funeral home in Convoy.
