Leila Annette (Wortman) Brown of Van Wert died at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Van Wert.
She was born Dec. 3, 1941, in Van Wert, to B. Irene (McClure) Wortman, who survives of Van Wert, and Cleo Wortman, who preceded her in death.
Her husband, Thomas C. Brown, is deceased.
Other survivors include her children, Dr. Thomas L. (Denise) Brown of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Donald L. Brown of Van Wert; brothers, John (Phyllis) Wortman and Denzil (Kaulene) Wortman, both of Van Wert; sister-in-law, Gloria Wortman of Auburn, Indiana; grandchildren, Tarra Waltmire, Jenna Brown, and Thomas A. Brown, and great-grandchildren, Courtney Waltmire, Saige Waltmire, Addison Waltmire, Colton Brown, and Alyssa Brown.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Wortman.
She was a retired realtor and owner of Key-1 Realty, Van Wert.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2016, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. The Rev. Bud Walls will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
