Leona Mae Amburgey, 81, of Willshire, Ohio, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 2:10 pm at Colonial Nursing Center in Rockford, where she had been a patient. She was born in Chattanooga, Ohio on November 23, 1929, to Roy and Goldie (Bollenbacher) Luginbill. On December 25, 1958, she married Everette D. Amburgey, and he preceded on July 14, 1975. She was a homemaker and had lived in the area all her life. Surviving are two daughters: Rita Amburgey, Willshire, Ohio and Nita (Randy) Habegger, also of Willshire, Ohio; 2 brothers, Vernon Luginbill of Decatur, Indiana and Dean (Helen) Luginbill of Rockford; and two sisters: Norma Jean (Charles) Fuson, Celina, Ohio and Mary Luginbill, Chattanooga, Ohio. Two grandchildren, Ty Habegger of Lafayette, Indiana and Taya Habegger of Willshire, Ohio, also survive. Deceased is one brother, Kenny Luginbill. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford with Pastor Richard Larimore officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service.
