Lester Wisener

VAN WERT, Ohio - Lester J. Wisener, 75, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio.
He was born July 24, 1936, in Van Wert, to the late Lester L. and Cleo V. (Finkhousen) Wisener. On June 6, 1954, he married Patricia (Bayles) Wisener. She survives of Van Wert. They were married for 57 years.
He is survived by three children: Terri (Allan) Cummins of New Paris, Ohio, Kimberly (Mike) Lare of Convoy, Ohio, and Gene Wisener of Ohio City, Ohio; two sisters: Delores Laukhuf of Haviland, Ohio, and Becky Hamrick of Kansas; one sister-in-law: Helen Wisener of Van Wert; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Lester L. Wisener, and three brothers: Willard, Dale and John Wisener.
He retired from Navistar in Springfield, Ohio, in 1988 and was a United States Marine Corps Reserve veteran serving from 1953 to 1961.
Private family services will be held. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio.
