Lloyd Roberts

Rev. Lloyd L. Roberts, 80, of Van Wert, OH, went home to be with the Lord at 8:45 PM Friday, February 12, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 26, 1935 in Van Wert, OH to the late Rilla (Craig) Roberts-Shinaberry and Herman Roberts. On December 12, 1953, he married the love of his life, Hazel J. (Kline) Roberts. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children: Diane Kupper; Randy (Sallie) Roberts; Timothy (Michelle) Roberts; Shelby Roberts; all of Van Wert; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Lloyd was preceded in death by three brothers: Rudolf "Rudy", Gene and Todd Roberts; five sisters: Crystal Gwodz, Natalie Gerigog, Virginia Straley, Becky Fetheroff and Gloria Kemmel. Lloyd was a member and Reverend at the Church of Pentecost, Van Wert, Ohio and was the Past-President of the Northwest Fellowship. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Alspach- Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, Ohio with Pastor Ken Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Alspach- Gearhart Funeral Home
