Loella "Lu" Patsiavos, 73, of Van Wert, died at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
She was born April 29, 1940, in Van Wert, to the late Faith (Hittle) Rogers and Lewis Rogers.
Her husband, Perry Patsiavos, survives of Van Wert. They were married Feb. 19, 1977.
Other survivors include her children: Nicole (Mike) Nocilla of Canton, Ga., Tina (Paul) Vergilis of Cumming, Ga., and Pete (Melissa) Patsiavos of Hudsonville, Mich.; a brother: Charles Rogers of Van Wert; sisters: Carrol (Gary) Davis of Van Wert, and six grandchildren: Melina Vergilis, Nicholas, Analise and Olivia Patsiavos, and Kelsey and Kyla Nocilla.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Jim Rogers.
She retired after 35 years at Van Wert County Hospital as I.C.U. nurse supervisor. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Wayne.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 20 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is the Icon Fund of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
