Lois Kreider

Lois Katherine Kreider, 96, of Van Wert passed away at 5:10 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Van Wert Manor.

Born on July 6, 1924 in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of the late Vern and Nellie (Doner) Kreider.

Lois was a 1942 graduate of Van Wert High School.

Lois worked at Van Wert Manufacturing "The Overall Factory" when she first graduated from high school. She started at Central Insurance in 1944. She worked there her entire career.

Lois was a member of the Friends church and Van Wert Young Women's Christian Association.

Lois enjoyed playing the piano, visiting family, and watching her nieces and nephews in their school activities.

Surviving are two brothers, Charles (Betty) Kreider of Fruitvale, Idaho and William (Roxanna) Kreider of Fremont, Ohio; a sister in law, Carolyn Kreider of Continental, ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Kreider.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private and burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lois`s memory may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
