M. Joann Neer, Middle Point, died at 10:26 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at Vancrest of Delphos.
She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Hila (Waltz) Baer and Ray Baer. They are deceased.
Her husband, Glenn A. Neer, died Jan. 20, 2015.
Survivors include one child, Kimala Strickler of Middle Point; a sister, Jean Mizner of Missouri; a grandchild, Tammy (Brien) Corzine of Middle Point; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna, and Krista Corzine
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Barry Strickler; brothers, Ronald Baer and Carl Baer; sisters, Myrna Partin, Mary King, Mildred Longstreth; and step grandchildren, Eric and Hollie Strickler.
She was a retired bookkeeper from Conrad’s Truck Stop in Middle Point. She was a member of Middle Point Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.
Service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Tim Owens will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.
Visitation is 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Middle Point Methodist Church or Middle Point E.M.S.
