Madge Hoersten

Madge Hoersten, age 105, died July 26, 2021 in Billings, MT.
She was born May 19, 1916 to La Doyt Leonard Van Fleet and Mary Lucretia "Crete" (Frisinger) Van Fleet. Madge Lived in many Ohio cities, spending most years in Toledo, Ohio, where she graduated from De Vilbiss High and attended Davis Business College. She met and married Joe Fox on May 17, 1937. They had three children, Pat, Jill, and Gary Fox, along with 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.

Madge worked for various businesses as secretary and accountant. She retired from OXY Chemical of Rockford, Ohio after Joe's death in 1970.
On December 16, 1972, she married Richard (Bud) Hoersten, and he died on June 18, 2007. Surviving are two daughters-in-law, Delight and Joan Fox, both of Rockford, her 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, one sister, Mary Lee Trimble of Camargo, Illinois, along with many nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to Joe and Bud, are her two sons, Pat and Gary Fox, her daughter, Jill Fox, her brother, Jack Van Fleet, and three sisters, Betty J. Beall, Patsy Ruth Curie, and Maxine Van Fleet.

Graveside services will be held privately at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Ohio.
