Madge Wilson

Madge Wilson, 73, of Convoy, Ohio, passed away at 1:48 a.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.

Wilson was born on March 3, 1942, in Lima, Ohio to Ralph C. Jolley Jr. and Neva (Samsal) Jolley, both of whom are deceased. She married Donald R. Wilson on May 23, 1975 and he survives in Convoy.

She is also survived by her children, Jon (Ellen) Jones of Van Wert, Ohio, Craig Jones of Ohio City, Ohio, Dawn (Terry) Watson of Convoy, Ohio, Jay (Melissa) Wilson of Findlay, Ohio; a brother, Donald (Anita) Jolley of Findlay, Ohio; a sister, Janet (Robert) Nelson of Broadview Heights, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Kristi Dull, Ericca Lehman, Riley Jones, Cory Watson, Michael Watson, and Tyler Watson; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a child, Jackie Jones; and a sister who died in infancy.

Wilson retired from Hall Lumber Company, Convoy, Ohio, and was an E.M.T. with Convoy Fire Dept. She had also worked at Aeroquip Corporation in Van Wert, Ohio. She was an avid dog lover and rescuer.

A service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015, at Gearhart-Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy, Ohio, and be officiated by Rev. Melissa Steinecker. Burial will follow at the Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio at a later date. A visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, December 28, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Convoy Fire Dept, Van Wert Fire Dept, or Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
