Magdaleno Mendoza

Magdaleno Mendoza, 85, of Van Wert died at 3:45 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Van Wert. He was born July 22, 1933 in Fabens, Texas the son of the late Andres and Luz Mendoza. He married Maria De Jesus Mendoza and she preceded him in death.

He was of the Catholic faith and had retired as a quality control inspector in the aircraft industry.

Magdaleno is survived by two children, Michael Andrew Mendoza and Lisa Maria Mendoza; grandchildren, Miles Mendoza, Maximillian Mendoza, and Jaiden Douglas-Mendoza; a brother, Lucio Mendoza; and three sisters, Connie Simone, Luisa Villanueva, and Josie Arellano.

A catholic prayer service officiated by Father Stan Szybka will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM.

Burial will take place on May 23, 2019 in Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California.
