Marcia Hartman

Marcia L Hartman, 81, of Van Wert passed away at 6:30 PM on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Van Wert Health.

She was born on December 4, 1940, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Susan (Kaduk) Hartman.

Marcia retired in 1996 as a Senior Account Manager with American Electric Power after 30 years of service. She had previously worked at the former Gunsett Hardware and Showalter Sporting Goods in Van Wert.

Marcia was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Van Wert, where she sang in the church choir and had previously served on the Evangelism Committee. She was also a member of the American Electric Power Veterans Association.

She is survived by her first cousins, Nancy Kaduk of Van Wert, Paul Kaduk of Thousand Oaks, California and Chuck (Deb) Kaduk of Auburn, Indiana; second cousins, Kimberly Matthews of Van Wert and Aaron (Jamie) Gregory of Bluffton, Indiana; and a God Daughter, Hannah Zickefoose.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Van Wert, Ohio, with Rev. Kurt Klingbeil, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, OH.

Family and friends will be received one hour prior to services Friday at the church. A closed casket will be observed.

Due to current Covid concerns, Marcia's family requests visitors where facial coverings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marcia`s memory may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
