CONVOY, Ohio - Margaret "Peg" M. Beard, 78, of Convoy, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1932, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Mary Esther (Caris) Dunlap and Berl Dunlap. Her husband, Carl William Beard, is deceased.
Survivors include:
Children - Penny (Mark) Clark of Convoy and John Nutt of New Jersey
Stepchild - Sandy (Jack) Hoersten of Van Wert
Brother - Glen (Bonnie) Dunlap of Van Wert
Sister - Janet (Dave) Myers of Van Wert
Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Pamela Flanigan and Vickie Jackson, and a grandchild.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill, Ohio.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Convoy.
