VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Marjorie I. Baker, 95, of Van Wert, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.
She was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Paulding County, Ohio, to the late Flossie (Beckner) Cryer and George Cryer.
Her husband, Hary E. Baker, died March 18, 2014. They were married Nov. 25, 1942.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judith A. Merkle, and two brothers: E. Wayne Cryer and Robert G. Cryer.
She worked as a bookkeeper at several different businesses in Van Wert in her lifetime. She was a member and past worthy matron of the Van Wert Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation is 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center or donor's choice.
