Marvin Mihm

Marvin L. Mihm, 78, of Van Wert, died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. He was born Feb. 10, 1938, in Van Wert, to the late Eileen Agnes (Jackson) Pendergrass and Carl William Mihm.
His wife, Nancy (Donnel) Mihm, survives of Van Wert. They were married Nov. 7, 1970.
Other survivors include children, Kim (Tom) Cadwallader of Van Wert, Dave Herport of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Vicky (Gerald) Perry of Magnolia, Texas, and Jim Mihm of Van Wert; a brother, Bruce (Carol) Mihm of Van Wert; six nieces; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Mihm, and a nephew, Rob Mihm.
He retired from B.F. Goodrich in Woodburn, Indiana. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard who enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pinochle, and watching football.
A celebration of Marvin's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, after 1 p.m. at his residence.
