VAN WERT, Ohio - Mary Lou Adams, 84, of Van Wert, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 19, 2013, at her residence
She was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Paulding, Ohio, to the late Gertrude (Tigner) Yenser and Darrel M. Yenser.
Her husband, James L. Adams, died March 26, 2007. They were married May 22, 1948.
Survivors include children: Tom L. (Cheryl) Adams of Dallas, N.C., and John E. (Brenda) Adams of Scott, Ohio, four grandchildren: Jami (James) Cantrell of Lincolnton, N.C., Stephanie (Micheal) McAllister of Vale, N.C., Matthew (Tara) Adams of Continental, Ohio, and Mallory (Levi) Vondenhuevel of Atwood, Tenn., and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
She retired from Aeroquip Corporation, Van Wert.
Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Scott. Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Alzheimer Association.
