Mary R. Bagley, 98, of Van Wert, died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Jackson Township, Van Wert County, Ohio, to Daisy (Wisher) Dunlap and James Franklin "Frank" Dunlap. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, Clyde S. Bagley, is deceased. They were married Nov. 10, 1946.
Survivors include her children, DiAnn (Douglas) Corwin of Fremont, Indiana, and MariAnn (Anthony) Johanns of Clinton, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Mark Corwin, Melinda Snider, Laura Johanns, Candace Johanns; six great-grandchildren, Brittany, Breanna, Brookelyn, William, Mason, Marcus and Charlie, and a great-great-grandchild, Aliyah.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Bagley Builder Supply in Van Wert. She was a member of Trinity Friends Church, Van Wert, where she often volunteered much of her time.
Service will begin at noon Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Steve Savage will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice or Trinity Friends Church.
