Mary E. Boroff, 98, of Rockford passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born January 20, 1916 in Ohio City to Charles and Mary Moore Clouse. Mary was married to Forrest Boroff on December 5, 1933. He died on September 10, 1991. Mary was a life-long member of the Olive Branch Church of God where she belonged to the Women's Association. She worked at the Federal Mogul Company in Van Wert. Mary also enjoyed quilting and fishing as hobbies. Mary is survived by 2 daughters: Virginia Hesse of Mendon and Patricia (Kelly) Howell of Lenoir City, Tennessee. Also surviving are 3 sister-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law: Imogene Cooper, Lois Roettger, Laverl and Jeanne Boroff. She is survived by 6 grandchildren: Randy and Rick Hesse, Teri Ross, Brent Howell, Kelly Gross and Jill Heath. Mary enjoyed her 12 great grandchildren: Josh Hesse, Angela Keith, Camille Hesse, Courtney Smith, Ryan Hesse, Kailee Ross, Chelsea, Corey and Shaquille Howell; Cole Heath, Sydney Heath and Jaden Gross. Mary celebrated her 2 great great grandchildren: Haiden and Owen Keith. Deceased are: son-in-law, Larry Hesse; 3 brothers: Waldo, Walter and Kenen Clouse; 4 sisters: Gertie Mae Clouse, Blanche Keating, Ethel Leonard and Gertrude Berry. Services will be held at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, Ohio on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Steve Waterman officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, March 16th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM and one hour before the service on Monday. Memorials may be directed to the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center or Olive Branch Church of God or Maplewood Assisted Living Fund.
