Mary Clarkson

CONVOY, Ohio - Mary K. Clarkson, 78, of Convoy, died at 5:42 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born April 5, 1934, in Union County, Ohio, to the late Ida (Storm) Strunkenburg and William Strunkenburg. Her husband, Lewis S. "Jack" Clarkson, died Aug. 20, 1995. They were married Nov. 18, 1962.
Survivors include her children: Bill (Tammy) Crowle of Muskogee, Okla., Barry (Carol) Crowle of Laredo, Texas, James (Barbara) Clarkson of Van Wert, Brenda (Rick) Krick of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Barbe Goldfuss of Defiance, Ohio, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
She retired from the Dana Corp. in Antwerp, Ohio, after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home & Crematory in Convoy. The Rev. Michael Saylor will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy IOOF Cemetery, Convoy. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the funeral home.
