Mary Newland

ROCKFORD, Ohio a�" Mary L. Newland, 82, of Rockford, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Windham, Ohio, to the late Mildred (Needles) Wiedeman and Albert Wiedeman.
Her husband, Joseph G. Newland, passed away Sept. 24, 2013. They married Sept. 2, 1948.
Survivors include children: Robert Newland of Rockford and Jenny Newland of Van Wert, Ohio; half sister: Shirley (Bill) Best of West Columbia, South Carolina; five grandchildren: Becky Worline, Amy Jo Newland, Branden Newland, Brian Cress, and Jeff Cress, and five great grandchildren.
She retired from Teleflex Corp. of Van Wert after 21 years of service.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Pastor Tony Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation will be 12-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the funeral home.
