Mary Robeson

Mary Ellen Robeson, 93, of Van Wert, died at 11:12 a.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born April 16, 1922, in Van Wert, the daughter of Branson Shingledecker and Dorothy Pickering, who both preceded her in death. She married Franklin Robeson, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Robeson and Larry (Linda) Robeson, both of Van Wert; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was proud her five surviving generations with her eight great-great-grandchildren. A brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Robeson had worked as an assembler at Weatherhead and was a member of Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with Pastor Neil Hammons officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
