CONVOY, Ohio - Michael A. Ludwig, 48, of Convoy, died at 2:12 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was born Aug. 31, 1962, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Evelyn (Mason) and William Ludwig of Van Wert.
Other survivors include a loving companion: Stephanie Fennig of Convoy; his children: Stephanie (Ken Reinhart) Ludwig of Decatur, Ind., and Isaac Ludwig of Grover Hill, Ohio; a brother: Jeff Ludwig of Delphos, Ohio; one sister: Sue (Daniel) Jones of Delphos, and his grandchildren: Alivia, Wesyn, Levi, Eliza.
He currently worked at B.F. Goodrich for past 13 years. He previously worked at Teleflex Corporation, Van Wert. He was a member of N.R.A., loved his family and friends and loved to make them laugh. He also loved to cook.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will be in Mohr Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio. The Rev. Will Haggis will officiate.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011, at the funeral home.
