Mildred Osenga

CLOVERDALE, Ohio - Mildred L. Osenga, 85, of Cloverdale, died at 3:55 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Paulding County, Ohio, to the late Edith (Mosier) Thatcher and Kimber "Pete" Thatcher.
Her husband, Joseph "Joe" Osenga, survives of Cloverdale.
Other survivors include children: Joe (Susan) Osenga of Ft. Jennings, Ohio, Kim (Pam) Osenga and Scot (Marcia) Osenga, both of Van Wert; sister: Margie Dunlap of Bellefontaine, Ohio; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Pollock and two sisters, Colleen Kline and Carol Jean Thatcher.
She had worked numerous jobs in Van Wert and Grover Hill, Ohio. She was a former member of Antioch Christian Church in Cloverdale, a member of Ottoville V.F.W. Auxiliary and a former member of the Community Club of Grover Hill.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
