Mildred L. "Mid" Rhinehalt, 97, of Scott, died at 10:01 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at The Gardens in Paulding, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 15, 1915, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to the late Mary E. (Bartz) Bowersock and Clifton Bowersock.
Her husband, Neil C. Rhinehalt, died April 9, 1987. They were married Dec. 8, 1932, in Ada, Ohio.
Survivors include her children: Joy (Gene) Hartmier of Clearwater, Fla., Lou Anne Matthews of Scott and Linda Huss Hootman of Cecil, Ohio; one brother: Larry (Nancy) Bowersock of Van Wert, Ohio; a sister: Lydia Runyon of Van Wert, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Steve Matthews, Christi Short, Lisa Keegan, Brent Miller, Julie McCloud, Cindy Ruppel and Bruce Hartmier, and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Frank Bowersock, and two sisters: Maxine Edwards and Ruth Young.
She retired from National Seal Corporation, Van Wert, in 1977 after 30 years of service.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Scott.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the funeral home.
