Nancy DeCamp

Nancy DeCamp, 70, of Grover Hill passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 25, 2019 at her residence.

Born on September 25, 1949 in Van Wert, Nancy was raised by her aunt, Thurma L. Kennedy.

A 1967 graduate of Lincolnview High School, she married the love of her life, Roger DeCamp on August 15, 1970. Together they shared years of memories.

Nancy attended Haviland Country Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at the Marsh deli counter, as a teller for Citizens National Bank, and in food service at Van Wert County Hospital.   She enjoyed going to the movies, and watching and collecting television shows and comedies of old.

She is survived by her husband, Roger of Grover Hill; son, David (Heather) DeCamp of San Antonio, TX; as well as her grandchildren: Emma Amy and Alice Ruth DeCamp.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. A funeral service will follow at noon on Monday with Rev. Ron Johnson presiding. Interment will follow in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, OH.
