Ned L. Hileman, 78, of Rockford, tragically passed away November 22, 2021.
Ned was born January 24, 1943 to the late Forest and Aileen (Hoverman) Hileman. He later met and married the love of his life, and best friend for over 61 years, Paula (Mescher) Hileman.
Ned worked and retired from what is now Federal Mogul, in Van Wert, Ohio. He was a simple man who enjoyed farming with Seth Kohnen and Adam Butler, playing cards at Eve's Chatt Bar with his friends, spending time with his grandchildren, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his wife; Paula Hileman of Rockford, his children; Annette (Joe) Felver of Rockford and Laurie (Eric) Richmond of Alexandria, IN, a brother; Larry (Marty) Hileman of Rockford, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Brenda K. Garwood, and a granddaughter; Natasha Shaffer.
A funeral service will take place Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Baker officiating.
A visitation will take place prior from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Burial will take place at Kessler Cemetery in Liberty Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CHP Homecare and Hospice.
