Noel Thomas Miller, Jr., our dearly loved son, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away into the arms of Jesus his Savior after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 58 years young.
He was born Aug. 3, 1956, in Van Wert, the son of the late Dr. Noel Thomas Miller and Nancy Jane (Carson) Miller who survives in Van Wert, Ohio.
Tom worked with his hands as an auto mechanic all of his life, for the last 10 years at Shifferly Dodge in Decatur, Indiana. Tom was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the New York Giants. He was a 1975 graduate of Van Wert High School. He enjoyed boating, watching football, NASCAR races and monster trucks.
He is survived by his mother; three children, sons Joshua Keith (Tami) Miller of Kendallville, Indiana, and Noel Thomas (Stacy) Miller, III of Leetsdale, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Cherish Marie May of St. Marys, Ohio, and a stepson, Jerrid (Angela) Taylor of Van Wert; three sisters, Terry Ann Johnson of Mint Hill, North Carolina, Tammy (Larry) Kuperus of Freeport, Michigan, Trina (Michael) Louth of Van Wert; one grandson and four granddaughters, along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his soul mate, Barb Miller of Convoy, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother and best friend: Tracy and nephews: Luke Kuperus and Logan Miller.

Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. Private family services will be held.
