Norma A. (Swick) Adam of Fort Jennings, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born March 28, 1930, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to Edith (Mollenkopf) Swick and Wyler K. Swick. Her parents are deceased.
On Jan. 1, 1950, she married G. Clayton “Butch” Adam and he died April 6, 2001. Then on Nov. 28, 2004, she married Charles Boroff and he survives.
Other survivors include her children, George W. (Stacy) Adam of Van Wert, Donald L. (Shelley) Adam of Ft. Jennings, Bruce J. (Ann) Adam of Ft. Jennings, and Brian C. (Janis) Adam of Ft. Jennings; sisters, Jean (Norman) Covert of Tiffin, Ohio, and Judy (Fred) Good of Charlotte, Michigan; grandchildren, Melissa Fallis, Stephanie Priest, Jennifer Thompson, Ryan Adam, Rebecca Adam, Amanda Miller, Abigail Anspach, Angela Galloway, Nick Adam, Alex Adam; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Don Good, a sister, Jane Good, and a grandson, Justin Adam.
She was a homemaker and had also drove school bus. She attended Salem Presbyterian Church in Venedocia, Ohio. She was a member of the Sugar and Spice Club. Norma was a woman of strong faith who loved her Savior and her family deeply.
Service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Thomas Emery will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio. Visitation is 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Van Wert Inpatient Hospice or Van Wert Manor.
