Norma B. Zizelman, 89, of Rockford, died at 10:45 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2010,at the Laurels of Shane Hill, where she was a patient. She was born on July 29, 1921 in Van Wert County, Ohio to Joseph and Esther Agnes (Grote) Germann. On January 8, 1937, she married Charles W. Zizelman, and he preceded August 19, 2009. Norma was a housewife and worked at Tu-Way Products in Rockford for 13 years and also farmed with her husband. She lived all her life in Van Wert and Mercer Counties, and was a member of Friends Chapel Church, Rockford. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1292 in Rockford and the Hopewell Grange, Celina, Ohio. Surviving is a daughter, Marjorie (Earl) Brodbeck of Willshire, a daughter-in-law, Esther Zizelman of Rockford, a brother, Howard (Marva) Germann of St. Marys, Ohio, 1 sister, Alice Smith, of Celina, a brother-in-law, Bill Kahn of Decatur, and a sister-in-law, Lois Krick of Celina. Three grandchildren survive: Neil (Heather) Zizelman, Brenda (Brian) Williams, and John Brodbeck, along with two great grandchildren: Parker and Riley Williams. Deceased is a son, George Zizelman, 5 brothers: Paul, Elmer, Art, Lester, and Herbert Germann; and 6 sisters: Agnes Teboe, Mildred Germann, Ireta Grace, Helen Searight, Mabel Prichard, and Laura Kahn.. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford with Pastor Steve Howell officiating. Burial will be in Friends Chapel Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, December 27, from 4-8 pm and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. The Rockford Eagles Auxillary services will be held at 7:30 pm at the funeral home on Monday. [photosmash id=42]
