VAN WERT, Ohio - Patricia Ann Anderson, 76, of Van Wert, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:52 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born May 30, 1934, in Van Wert, to the late Florence (Johnson) Gribler and Clayton McMichael. Her husband, Richard Anderson, died June 21, 2002. They were married Nov. 12, 1979.
Survivors include her stepchildren: Nancy Dias of Van Wert, Donald Anderson of North Carolina and Deborah (Bill) Larimore of Lima, Ohio; a brother: Roger (Peri) McMichael of Carmel, Ind.; two sisters: Carole (Dan) Stutz and Barbara (Max) Kraner, both of Van Wert; six stepgrandchildren: siblings: Tina, Tonya and Jonathon McMichael; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and her beloved pet, Jake.
She attended Trinity Friends Church, Van Wert. She retired from Sonoco in 1993 after 14 years of service and had also worked at Aeroquip in Van Wert for 15 years.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Neil Hammons will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are Trinity Friends Church or American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association or Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
