VAN WERT, Ohio - Patricia "Patty" (Harr) Giessler, 85, of Van Wert, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Vancrest of Convoy in Convoy, Ohio.
She was born April 21, 1926, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to the late Vernice (Wilson) Harr and Leonard Harr. Her husband, Wayne A. Giessler, died Feb. 28, 2008. They were married Jan. 26, 1946.
Survivors include a daughter: Sarah (Dale) Burden of Convoy.
She was a Crestview School bus driver for 27 years and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Convoy.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Rita Bair will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is American Red Cross.
