Patricia Kinkle

VAN WERT, Ohio — Patricia M. Kinkle, 66, of Van Wert, passed away at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Van Wert, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born Jan. 12, 1951, in Van Wert, to Cecilia Irene (Lewis) Carrier and Vernon E. Carrier. Her parents are deceased.

Her husband, David B. Kinkle, survives of Van Wert. They were married Oct. 10, 1970.

Other survivors include her children, Amy (Jeff) Tomlinson of Van Wert and Cheryl (Jason) Eskew of Beavercreek, Ohio; a brother, Michael O. (Gina) Carrier of Van Wert; a sister, Jacqueline A. (Ed) Reinemeyer of Van Wert, and grandchildren, Hayden and Quinn Tomlinson, Kyle and Claire Eskew.

She retired from the Van Wert City School System. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert, and had also taught CCD classes at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert. A luncheon will be served immediately following mass in the church gym. Father Stan Szybka will officiate. Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the church.

Preferred memorial is National Autism Foundation or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
